We check for the presence of binary_parameters
in the DSN and add the 0x01 byte accordingly.

This helps us avoid casting to string
and efficiently use the database.

4b95d47923 DB driver implementation via RPC (#17779)
This PR builds up on the pass-through DB driver to a fully functioning DB driver implementation via our RPC layer.

To keep things separate from the plugin RPC API, and have the ability to move fast with changes, a separate field Driver is added to MattermostPlugin. Typically the field which is required to be compatible are the API and Helpers. It would be well-documented that Driver is purely for internal use by Mattermost plugins.

A new Driver interface was created which would have a client and server implementation. Every object (connection, statement, etc.) is created and added to a map on the server side. On the client side, the wrapper structs hold the object id, and communicate via the RPC API using this id.

When the server gets the object id, it picks up the appropriate object from its map and performs the operation, and sends back the data.

Some things that need to be handled are errors. Typical error types like pq.Error and mysql.MySQLError are registered with encoding/gob. But for error variables like sql.ErrNoRows, a special integer is encoded with the ErrorString struct. And on the cilent side, the integer is checked, and the appropriate error variable is returned.

Some pending things:

- Context support. This is tricky. Since context.Context is an interface, it's not possible to marshal it. We have to find a way to get the timeout value from the context and pass it.
- RowsColumnScanType(rowsID string, index int) reflect.Type API. Again, reflect.Type is an interface.
- Master/Replica API support.

e35c78cac2 Pass-through DB Driver implementation (#17685)
* Pass-through DB Driver implementation

This is the first step in implementing a DB layer via RPC.

The plan is to migrate the mattermost-plugin-api to use
this DB connector so that all queries start to get
routed through this library.

And then we will add the DB query capability to the plugin RPC
API and route all queries via RPC. At that point, this will be
completely transparent to all plugins because they will already
be using the DB connector and everything will be behind the scenes
for them.

7b1dee4936 MM-33818: Add replica lag metric (#17148)
* MM-33818: Add replica lag metric

We add two new metrics for monitoring replica lag:
- Monitor absolute lag based on binlog distance/transaction queue length.
- Monitor time taken for the replica to catch up.

To achieve this, we add a config setting to run a user defined SQL query
on the database.

We need to specify a separate datasource field as part of the config because
in some databases, querying the replica lag value requires elevated credentials
which are not needed for usual running of the application, and can even be a security risk.

Arguably, a peculiar part of the design is the requirement of the query output to be in a (node, value)
format. But since from the application, the SQL query is a black box and the user can set any query
they want, we cannot, in any way templatize this.

And as an extra note, freno also does it in a similar way.

The last bit is because we need to have a separate datasources, now we consume one extra connection
rather than sharing it with the pool. This is an unfortunate result of the design, and while one extra
connection doesn't make much of a difference in a single-tenant scenario. It does make so, in a multi-tenant scenario.
But in a multi-tenant scenario, the expectation would already be to use a connection pool. So this
is not a big concern.

https://mattermost.atlassian.net/browse/MM-33818

```release-note
Two new gauge metrics were added:
mattermost_db_replica_lag_abs and mattermost_db_replica_lag_time, both
containing a label of "node", signifying which db host is the metric from.
These metrics signify the replica lag in absolute terms and in the time dimension
capturing the whole picture of replica lag.
To use these metrics, a separate config section ReplicaLagSettings was added
under SqlSettings. This is an array of maps which contain three keys: DataSource,
QueryAbsoluteLag, and QueryTimeLag. Each map entry is for a single replica instance.
DataSource contains the DB credentials to connect to the replica instance.
QueryAbsoluteLag is a plain SQL query that must return a single row of which the first column
must be the node value of the Prometheus metric, and the second column must be the value of the lag.
QueryTimeLag is the same as above, but used to measure the time lag.
As an example, for AWS Aurora instances, the QueryAbsoluteLag can be:
select server_id, highest_lsn_rcvd-durable_lsn as bindiff from aurora_global_db_instance_status() where server_id=<>
and QueryTimeLag can be:
select server_id, visibility_lag_in_msec from aurora_global_db_instance_status() where server_id=<>
For MySQL Group Replication, the absolute lag can be measured from the number of pending transactions
in the applier queue:
select member_id, count_transaction_remote_in_applier_queue FROM performance_schema.replication_group_member_stats where member_id=<>
Overall, what query to choose is left to the administrator, and depending on the database and need, an appropriate
query can be chosen.
8b17bf9e42 MM-11886: materialize channel search (#9349)
* materialize PublicChannels table
Introduce triggers for each supported database that automatically maintain a subset of the Channels table corresponding to only public channels. This improves corresponding queries that no longer need to filter out 99% DM channels.
This initial commit modifies the channel store directly for easier code reviewing, but the next wraps an experimental version around it to enable a kill switch in case there are unforeseen performance regressions.
This addresses [MM-11886](https://mattermost.atlassian.net/browse/MM-11886) and [MM-11945](https://mattermost.atlassian.net/browse/MM-11945).
* extract the experimental public channels materialization
Wrap the original channel store with an experimental version that
leverages the materialized public channels, but can be disabled to
fallback to the original implementation.
This addresses MM-11947.
* s/ExperimentalPublicChannelsMaterialization/EnablePublicChannelsMaterialization/
* simplify error handling
* move experimental config listener until after store is initialized
